Mrs. Haussler

 

 

     My name is Angela Haussler and I am one of 2 fourth grade teachers here at Park Elementary. I am so excited to get this year started. This is a special year for me because this was the last class that I taught in 1st grade. So I am lucky and get to teach some of you twice and others for the first time. Either way we are one big 4th grade family. 

   I have wanted to be a teacher all my life, as I come from a family of educators. My father was a K-12 Principal for many years before retiring at the end of the last year. I have 3 siblings that are also in the education profession. One of my brothers teaches High School English and my other brother teaches Special Education. Our little sister is a third grade teacher. 

     Education is my passion, I want to help young to children learn, grow, and to be the most successful they can be.  Every child is unique and learns in their own way. My role is to teach them, help them and, to challenge them. I have high expectations for all of my students and together we will find the best way for your child to succeed.

     While we are focusing on academics we are going to have lots of fun as well. We will also spend a significant amount of time on social and emotional health as well. I want all student's to love school and them to know that together we are going to do whatever can to help them be the best lifelong learners they can be.
