Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to our 1st grade class page! I am more than excited to have your child as one of my sweet, eager kiddos this year. We are going to have a year of growth, flexibility, hard work, and fun! My goal as your child's teacher is to welcome them exactly where they're at, but challenge them with love and encouragement to grow, grow, grow! We are going to make so many new discoveries this year!
Before I get to know you, here is a little bit more about me! I am originally from the small town of Petersburg, NE. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in the Spring of 2018 with Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I then began my teaching career in the Fall of 2018 at Park Elementary in the 1st grade classroom. This will be my third year as a 1st grade teacher at Park, and I am more than ready for all that the year will bring!
Some other fun things about me are: I love spending time with my cat (Henry), kayaking, and watching movies! My favorite foods include guacamole, tacos, and wings. Finally, I will be getting married in May of 2021!
