About Mrs. Wiltgen

Hello and welcome to the Park Elementary page! My name is Lynette Wiltgen. This is my 27th year teaching, all at Park School. Wayyyyy back in 1994, Rodger Gage, the Park principal at the time, called my parents and asked them if he could take me out of Iowa to teach at his school. :) They said he could only keep me there for a couple of years. Well I ended up getting married, and I found out that Kearney is a wonderful town to live in and raise a family, with many cultural, physical, and educational opportunities! 

 

I taught third grade for 13 years, and second since leaving third. I have learned from many wonderful teachers over the years. One of the most valuable things that I learned was how to have FUN when learning! 

 

I received my Master's Degree in SPED in 2000 from UNK, and I am continuing my graduate classes. I love to learn about new ways to make learning meaningful, and how to maximize learning. I am passionate about teaching; I love everything about it! 

 

I can't wait to get this school year started! :)
