Red Ribbon Week is dedicated to raising awareness and educating students about the dangers of drug use. During Red Ribbon Week, our guidance lessons will be centered on the negative consequences of using drugs, while highlighting the positives of a drug free life. We will also teach strategies that our kids can use to say "no" to drugs.
During Red Ribbon Week, our 5th Grade Student Leaders will be holding a spare change drive to raise money for the Bright Futures Preschool Playground Fund. This year, we will have jars set up in our front office for students to drop their change into. Each jar will have a specific grade level printed on it. At the end of the week, the grade level with the most change in it will earn a special movie party downtown on the bricks!
